embellish border card

There is def. something about this color challenge that calls for an Easter card!

This is what I created- I combined some of my favorite stamp sets for this card. I love all the designs of the Easter Egg set and wish there was more of an opportunity for Easter Egg Cards!!

Anyhow, I created the background on top of CTMH textured stock- I love this stuff! The texture is perfect. Then, i stamped the eggs and trimmed them out from the same stock as the card base. They are mounted onto the card front. The sentiment layer is also on the same stock- ran that layer through the cuttlebug and embossed it. Also mounted.
For the border at the bottom, I ran both sides through the punch at the same time, making sure the front and back punches would line up. It was tough to punch, but I mustered through it!!

Card Recipe
stamps- darcey collection- Anna Griffin, Easter Eggs and Holiday Hoopla- CTMH
ink- baby pink, sweet leaf, buttercup and sorbet- CTMH
paper- CTMH Textured white stock
other- cuttlebug, nestabilities label 1, apron lace border punch-EK Success, foam tape
